Eye of Agamotto
Found in
Sanctum Sanctorum, Overworld
Power
infinity:time_stone

You get the Time Stone's power by holding it, wearing it in the Curios head slot, putting it in your gauntlet or a Cosmi-Rod, or by holding or wearing (chest or Curios necklace) an Eye of Agamotto that still has the stone in it. There's only one Time Stone per world. Taking it out is explained under the Eye of Agamotto.

While a time power is running your arm goes up, green time rings appear on you and your screen gets a green tint. The free Screen Toggle turns the tint off.

Abilities#

Fast Forward Daylight Cycle#

Hold to speed through the day (100 ticks of daytime every tick).

  • Hold
  • 1 Aspect of Existence

infinity:time_stone · palladium:command

Stop Projectile#

Projectiles that come within 6 blocks of you freeze in the air.

  • Toggle
  • 1 Aspect of Existence

Requires Fast Forward Daylight Cycle

Works on every projectile except fishing bobbers: arrows, tridents, ender pearls, snowballs, fireballs and other mods' projectiles too. Your own aren't stopped. A frozen projectile can't move, fall or hit anything for as long as it stays in range. Once you move away or turn the ability off, it hangs for 2 more seconds and then carries on the way it was going. Frozen projectiles stay frozen through a world reload.

While Change Flow of Time is on, scroll down to slow the world (4 fewer ticks per second per step, down to 2 TPS) or up to speed it up (4 more per step, up to 40 TPS). The green bar shows the step and the middle is normal speed. Your step is remembered for next time. Turning it off puts the server back to 20 TPS. You keep moving at normal speed. It affects the whole server. Needs Chrono API.

Slow Time steps#

Change Flow of Time sets the server's tick rate through Chrono API. Each step is 4 ticks per second:

Step−5−4−3−2−1012345
Ticks per second4036322824201612842

Scroll down to slow things down and up to speed them up. The green bar shows the step, with the middle being normal speed. While time is slowed you get hidden Speed and Haste so you can keep up, and the tick rate change doesn't apply to you.

This is server wide

Change Flow of Time and Time Freeze affect the whole server and everyone on it until you turn them off. On a shared server, ask first.

The time command#

With Time Command unlocked and the Time Stone active, you can use /infinity time set <time> without being an operator. It always moves time forward, so setting 1000 at 13000 skips to the next morning. See Commands.
