What the mod adds#
- The six Infinity Stones. Each one is a
Palladium power with its own skill tree. - The Infinity Gauntlet, and the Snap.
- The containers the stones come in, plus the Cosmi-Rod:
- A structure for each stone.
- Four planets to visit (Vormir, Morag, Svartalfheim and the Garden) and the Soulworld. See Dimensions.
- JSON systems for addon makers: custom stones, skins, gauntlets with their own menus, ground items and skill tree themes.
Buying abilities#
Holding a stone, or having it in the gauntlet, gives you that stone's power. Nothing is unlocked at the start. Open the stone's skill tree and click an ability to buy it with Aspects of Existence from your inventory. Lots of abilities need another one first. Each stone's costs are on its own page, and how the trees work is on Skill Trees and Progression.
How to use each one is on its stone's page and in the ability list. Passives you'd rather not have running (Speed, Night Vision, Regeneration and so on) each have a free toggle in the skill tree.
The Infinity Gauntlet only gives you the abilities of the stones inside it while it's in your off hand or the
Curios hands slot. How to put stones in is on The Infinity Gauntlet.
How a playthrough usually goes#
- Get set up. Loot Infinity Temples for Aspects and Shards of
Existence, and village weaponsmith chests for the
Infinity Gauntlet Cast. - Make the Infinity Gauntlet. The recipe is in
JEI. See The Infinity Gauntlet. - Get the Space Stone first. The Tesseract is in the Norse Village. Its Teleport GUI gets you to the other planets, unless you'd rather build a rocket. Right-clicking the Tesseract itself also jumps you to the next dimension.
- Get the rest: Power from the Orb on Morag, Reality from the Aether Chamber on Svartalfheim, Soul on Vormir, Time from the Sanctum Sanctorum and Mind from the Sanctuary in the End. Where each one is and how to get it out is on Finding the Stones.
- Fill out the trees, unlock the six stone abilities like Immortality and full power, and think about whether the Snap is worth it.
A few tips#
- Stones, containers and the gauntlet don't despawn, burn or blow up when dropped. They lie on the ground until you right-click them. More on ground items.
- Don't hold a bare
Power Stone in your hand. It hits you with cosmic radiation. Put it in the gauntlet, the head slot or a
Cosmi-Rod. See Power Stone. - The Soul Guardian on Vormir sells explorer maps to the stone structures.
- Playing with
Powerborne? Its Stormbreaker is the one weapon that answers the gauntlet. A thrown Stormbreaker within
10 blocks of someone wearing the Infinity Gauntlet locks their stone abilities, like the Snap's burn does, until it's gone. See
Soul Stone.
