Putting a skin on#
- Wear your Infinity Gauntlet (off hand or
Curios hands slot) with no skin on it. - Hold the skin's unlock item in your main hand. The skin's ability shows up in the gauntlet's ability bar.
- Right-click. One unlock item gets used up, the skin goes on and a sound plays (an anvil, for most of them).
The skin is saved on that gauntlet, so it keeps it worn, held, on the ground or in a chest. Every skin also has an entry in the gauntlet's skill tree with its description. If you're holding an Infinity Gauntlet in your main hand, the skin goes on that one instead of the one you're wearing.
A few work differently. The Gauntlet with Fingers goes on as soon as you hold its item, the Nano Gauntlet can go over the Burnt Gauntlet, and the Fantastic Four Skin doesn't show in the ability bar.
Taking a skin off#
Return to Original Gauntlet#
Takes the skin off and gives you its unlock item back.
Only there while a skin is on. While you're still burnt from the Snap it can't take off the Burnt Gauntlet.

To swap skins, go back to the original gauntlet first and then put the new skin on.

Getting your own skin made#
Custom gauntlet skins are a reward for supporters on Patreon or Ko-fi. You provide:
- The texture, following the required guidelines.
- The item that unlocks the skin. It can be a custom item, as long as it can be obtained in survival through a single crafting recipe. More complex unlock items can be discussed separately, depending on how much work they are.
Ask on the Discord for the texture guidelines and anything else.
