infinity:infinity_gauntlet_cast
Needed to make the Infinity Gauntlet.
- How to get it
- Village weaponsmith chests (weight 3 of 97 per roll).
- Rarity
- Rare
- Category
- Gauntlet
Find an
Infinity Gauntlet Cast in a village weaponsmith's chest, then make the gauntlet in a crafting table or cast it with
Tinkers' Construct (
JEI has the recipe). The gauntlet doesn't stack, is Epic rarity and doesn't burn.
Where to wear it#
The gauntlet gives you the infinity: power, and every stone inside it, while it's in one of these slots:
| Slot | Notes |
|---|---|
Curios hands | The best spot. It's drawn on your arm. The Curios visibility (eye) button hides it and its stones. |
| Off hand | Works the same. |
| Main hand | Has its own held model and opens the stone menu, but it does not give you the stones' powers. |
If you have more than one, the off hand gauntlet wins, then the
Curios hands one, then any custom gauntlet
you're wearing.
In first person, the arm with the gauntlet on is drawn the way
Lucraft Core drew its held gauntlet, whichever hand or
Curios slot
it's in.
Pugmeowla's Infintrix (with
Alien Evolution,
Into the Omniverse or
Omnitrix Evolution): an equipped Omnitrix works
as a gauntlet. Press G to open its stone menu, no Infinity Gauntlet needed.
Infintrix sets this up as a custom gauntlet.
Pugmeowla's Herbs of Wakanda: the Black Panther necklace, on your chest or in the
Curios necklace slot, gives the
Infinity Gauntlet power.
Controls#
| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| G (Open Gauntlet) | Opens the stone menu of the gauntlet in your main hand, or the one you're wearing (custom gauntlets too). You can change the key under Controls, Infinity Stones. |
| Right-click with the gauntlet in your main hand | Opens its stone menu. |
| Shift-click a stone in your inventory (menu open) | Puts it in a free slot. The six Infinity Stones go to their own slot if it's free. |
Palladium ability keys | Use the stones' abilities and the gauntlet's own (the Snap, skins). |
The stone menu#
- Six slots, one per socket on the gauntlet. By default the order is Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Time, Soul.
- Any stone fits any slot. A stone is drawn on whichever socket you put it in.
- The same stone can't go in twice, and each slot holds one stone.
- Anything set up as a stone fits, including stones from addons (see Custom Stones).
- If you opened the menu from your hand, that gauntlet is locked in your hotbar until you close it.
- The stones are stored on the gauntlet item, so they go wherever the gauntlet goes. Drop it, put it in a chest or give it to a friend.
Putting a stone in plays the insert sound, puffs particles in the stone's color and plays a short hand animation. Taking one out plays the removal sound. You get or lose the stone's power straight away.
Tooltip and looks#
- The tooltip lists the stones inside in their colors, always in the same order (Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Time, Mind, then addon stones).
- The inventory icon colors each socket pixel with the stone in that slot.
- Worn, held or on the ground, each stone is drawn as a glowing cube in its socket. Skins change the gauntlet around the stones, see Gauntlet Skins.
- On the ground the gauntlet stands upright and keeps its stones and skin. Right-click to pick it up.
The gauntlet's skill tree#
The infinity: power has a tree too. It has info entries (use the
Curios hands slot,
Infintrix omnitrixes, the Snap and what happens after), one entry per skin, and
Return to Original Gauntlet. The Snap abilities show up in the ability bar once all six stones are in.
